Story Time
We have a variety of programs for children and young adults including story time throughout the week. Typically the programs are broken down by age group (for example there is a pre-school story hour and a kid's time program for kindergarten through 3rd graders). Summer Reading Program

Birthday Book Club
Celebrate your child's birthday in a special way and help our library collection continue to grow. Participation in the program involves a $10 donation per book (one per child). Contact our Children's Librarian for additional information (437.6473 or

The Mitchell Research Center is located on the second floor of the Mitchell Building at 22 North Manning Street in Hillsdale. The purpose of the MRC is to "make collected and donated research records and materials relative to genealogical, historical and archival subjects available; to provide needed or requested assistance to the public; and to continue doing needed indexing and compiling of research material.
