Purpose
We are an official 501(c)3 volunteer-based organization that works collaboratively with the library and community to fundraise, support, and ensure our library remains vibrant, resourceful, and accessible to all!
How We Support the Library
- Enhancing library facilities: Improvements to the library environment: such as new furniture, technology updates, or building renovations
- Purchasing new books and materials: This includes expanding or helping with replacing the library’s collection of books and other media.
- Funding special programs: We often sponsor or pay for educational events, such as historical, STEM, and Michigan based programs.

| In order to join the Friends of Hillsdale Library, a tax deductible yearly $20 fee is required. Meetings are held at the Library on the third Tuesday of every other month at 5:30PM. See the library events calendar for specific dates. |  |
